The Golden sceptre

One of my favorite books of all time is “ T he Purpose Driven”  Life by Rick Warren. This book was my breakthrough pathfinder. Before taking the 40-days journey through purpose discovery, I did not live a life of purpose consciously. I was just a teen going about life as it came. All I knew was going to school, going to church, helping parents, and one day finding a speaking career, marry and living happily ever after! My big laugh😂😂😂😂! Nothing is more uplifting   than finally being able to actually define where you want to go and understanding why you want to travel that road. What happens often is that we struggle with our careers, education, families, loved ones, and friends because we really do not know why we even exist. Note that when you know your purpose you no longer struggle with those, but that purpose discovery helps you minimize problems in these areas, and keeps you on a constant happiness equilibrium. For a long time now, I have been building this passion; The desire to see a generation of God-fearing, purpose-driven, and virtuous teenage girls who are transforming their community. I do believe in the power of teenagers.  This is the age of physical maturity. It is the age of psychological development It is the period where many of us turn down our childhood dreams because we come to a realization that most of what we dreamt of and spoke of were mere wishful thoughts.  Buried in teenagers is the power to make or mar their future.  It is the period of conscious living and age where most parents find it hard relating with their kids as they did before! Most importantly, teenage is the age of vulnerability. Many,  during this stage of maturity, give into wrong forces because the one inside of them is not strong enough!   In a world where everyone is busy over one thing or the other, a world where wrong is the new right, a one where young people would do whatever for money, a world where everyone seems to know and are ready to teach- This is the same world where every action we take, a decision we make and words we speak have a consequence; that which we must encounter… How about in this same world we are taught to be proactive, decision-makers and action minded? How about rathe r  than doing the wrong always, we do right to correct the wrong? How about we be the game changers and start young??? Must you be the experience that others refer to as “the best teacher (if at all)? Must you have to go through the mistakes others have gone through just to spend a big half of adulthood preaching your failures of the past to correct or better the future?
