GIRLS TURNED INTO WOMEN OF VIRTUE!
In a world where everyone is busy over one thing or the other, a world where wrong is the new right, a one where young people would do whatever for money, a world where everyone seems to know and are ready to teach-
This is the same world where every action we take, a decision we make and words we speak have a consequence; that which we must encounter…
How about in this same world we are taught to be proactive, decision-makers and action minded?
How about rather than doing the wrong always, we do right to correct the wrong?
How about we be the game changers and start young???
Must you be the experience that others refer to as “the best teacher (if at all)?
Must you have to go through the mistakes others have gone through just to spend a big half of adulthood preaching your failures of the past to correct or better the future?
Such times always carry statements such as this; “I wish I knew this when I was 12” well, now that you are not twelve, now that you can’t go back in time…
As it’s always said, hope can never be lost! Even if you didn’t do it for yourself, you can help change the narrative of others.
Take a look at this group of young people, let’s say girls (cause I’m a girl who loves girls and can relate better)
Teenage girls to be precise.
Maybe pre-teens and post teens.
Have you ever thought about the generation that could be saved if this young group of girls is helped with the gospel, personal development, and growth??
Have you ever thought of how adulthood can be better lived if the crucial maturity stage of every human is perfectly handled?? Well, it can never be perfect but let’s say a great deal.
Stats show that of the over 7 billion lives on planet earth, over 1.4billion fall within the teenage group(including pre and early 20s).
Imagine the teachings young girls receive in diverse groups year in and out on the struggles that come with “out of marriage” pregnancies, as well as the struggles girls suffer in failed relationships and heartbreaks. Yet, they are not taught *” abstinence*. What if we give teenage girls a new look at things?
After all, the Christ we reject is our only hope!
If you start teaching your little girl home at the age of 8 how to live a God-fearing, purpose-driven, and focused life, by the time she’s 12, you teach her how to build *her personal Principles*,
then teach her the dangers of going “the obvious”, leave her to live, knowing you’ve laid the foundation.
I bet a lot will change! We sometimes do these, but not the right way, and it ends in tears
The long and short is this: There is much to be done about our future and those of the younger generations that can change a whole lot about life. I believe investing in teens can be a healthy way to turn the tables. I should not wait for a kid to be 18 before she hears of purpose. Evil prevails because kids are idlers. All they do at 12 is play and learn the curriculum at school. Teach them about building their lives at 8, and making God central.
Not to forget, teach them how to work hard and make money for themselves so “Yahoo fake boys” with fake money don’t make the girl child be a laughing stock of the whole world as “Langa gender”-smh!
Speaking of changing the narrative, reading a good book can be a very good attitude to cultivate as young people that will change your lives for the better. Try reading The Purpose Driven life by Rick Warren
